Best friends Lynn (Roxanne Scrimshaw) and Lucy (Nichola Burley) were inseparable at school and as adults they remain keenly devoted to one another, living as neighbours in an Essex housing estate. When Lucy becomes pregnant Lynn, who has a daughter of her own, is delighted and looks forward to sharing the joys of motherhood with her best friend.
