In the near future, American and Russian scientists on board the International Space Station look down on Earth to see explosions and mass conflict. As they attempt to contact home, Commander Gordon Barrett (Messina) receives communication from the U.S government stating that the Russian military have launched a nuclear attack on American soil and that they are under strict instructions to secure the I.S.S. into American hands. Assuming their Russian co-workers have received a similar message, it quickly becomes apparent that it's a fight for survival if any of them want to make it home alive.
