THE DEAD HAVE RISEN!
A deserted yacht drifts into New York Harbor. For Ann Bowles, it is the first clue in the disappearance of her father. Joined by journalist Peter West, she follows the trail to the remote Antillean island of Matul, where the rotting dead are coming backj to life, and are hungry for flesh.
Christian Francis returns to Elisa Briganti's original screenplay for this official novelization of Lucio Fulci's notorious 1979 horror film (released in the UK as Zombie Flesh Eaters, and the US as Zombie), restoring and expanding material altered, omitted, or never realized on screen. Characters are rebuilt from their original descriptions, familiar moments take unexpected turns, and new threads push the nightmare beyond the boundaries of the film.
You know the film. Now discover the Zombi 2 you haven't seen.
