Then a werewolf tears through a family, and Seraphina finds the survivor; Violet, a seamstress whose life was destroyed in one night. Violet should be dead, instead she has become the very thing that the Vale twins hunt. And instead of killing her, she brings her home.

What begins as a scientific curiosity becomes something far more dangerous: a bond neither of them expected and a love that forces Seraphina to question everything - her oath, her family, her brother and the line between monsters and humans.
Meanwhile, in the very heart of London society, a cult called the Hollows has begun building a following. Preaching that monsters are holy and humanity is God's mistake.

Seraphina must choose: the duty she was born into, or the woman she was never meant to love.
