World-Friendship Through the Church School

"World-Friendship Through the Church School" explores the vital role of religious education in fostering international understanding and global harmony. John Leslie Lobingier presents a comprehensive framework for curriculum development within the church school setting, emphasizing the cultivation of empathy, cooperation, and social responsibility among younger generations.

The work argues that spiritual training should extend beyond traditional dogmatics to encompass a broader vision of human brotherhood and cross-cultural appreciation. By integrating themes of world peace and humanitarian service into the pedagogical structure, the book seeks to equip educators with the tools to inspire a sense of global community. It addresses practical methods for teaching children and youth about diverse cultures and the shared values that unite humanity, positioning the church school as a cornerstone for building a more peaceful world.

This text remains a significant contribution to the fields of Christian education and social ethics, reflecting early 20th-century ideals of internationalism and the transformative power of moral instruction in shaping a better future for all nations.
