Luis Morales, a marine biologist with a deep passion for bird conservation, has left an indelible mark on the field of birdwatching in Mexico. Since 2003, he has dedicated himself tirelessly to bird conservation, guiding birdwatching tours and sharing his knowledge with enthusiasts from around the world. His multifaceted career includes academic, governmental, and private-sector roles. However, he has found his greatest impact in the social sector, where he founded the San Pancho Bird Observatory in 2011. In 2010, he created the sustainable birdwatching tourism initiative "Birding San Pancho," becoming a leader in environmentally responsible practices.

In 2022, he founded MX-BRD-TRVL, an initiative designed to promote sustainability within the birdwatching industry by integrating national and international markets. His mission is to raise the standard of birdwatching while contributing meaningfully to global bird conservation efforts. Despite his professional achievements, Luis finds his greatest inspiration in his role as a husband and father. He shares his love for nature with his three children, passing on values of respect, stewardship, and care for the planet.
