Treasure hides in plain sight and, in this case, buried in the sands under the piers in Wildwoods, New Jersey. And when that treasure is unearthed during the budding days in the summer of 2016, the island turns from a fun vacation destination to an island of debauchery and sin.

Introverted, nineteen-year-old Jordan Meyers makes the easy decision to stay in Wildwood Crest when her family moves for her father's career. Finally free of their oppressive hand and unloving nature, Jordan has the chance to discover who she really is with the help of her childhood friend, Leon Caine. The problem is, Leon is in love with her, and she refuses to open her heart to him-to anyone for that matter. That is, until she meets an out-of-towner, David Masters, who starts to peel back those layers, opening her heart to desires she never knew she needed.

As Jordan tries to navigate a summer of alcohol, deceit, and murder, she is forced to choose between the two men she has grown to love-and figure out which one is trying to kill her.
