In English:
Why(r)us El Virus is the third translation of the American book Why(r)us the Virus. Written and illustrated by Kathleen Finnegan and translated by friends from Europe, this book reassures preschoolers that there will be a time when the pandemic will end, and that it will end because of the precautions taken by children and adults, and because scientists are creating vaccines that will reduce the impact of the virus on the world. The four women involved in this effort believe that parents and teachers need tools like this to help children deal with the emotional impact of the virus. The author provides professional teaching guides and activities (free downloads) on the website https://www.whyrusthevirus.com. Previous editions include Why(r)us das Virus (German edition) and Why(r)us le Virus (French edition).
