While God Watched

This is a self Auto-biographical Novel that tells the story of my life growing up in what was once considered one of the most dangerous places in the nation, Bedford Stuyvesant Brooklyn NY. A story of a Black Boy Overcoming several adversities including Physical Abuse, Rape, an unloving family, and Attempted Murder under the disguise of the shadow of his paternity; to coming into the knowledge of who he was as a Man, a father, a creator and a Devout Christian. Only to discover the one person he may have been attempting to find and love more than anyone else in life, was lurking in the shadows all along.

Through it All, God remained present. It was the Love of Christ that got me through those hard times and I didn't know it; until I gave my life to Christ. Having gone through so much as a child and teenager prepared me for the greatness to come. Had it not been for the Lord on my side, I would have been dead. In fact, I already died three different deaths. Each one yielding a new memoir of having sat in the 'upper room' and having my spirit being ushered in by the Cherubim. How awesome it is to be in Christ stead.

I have hoped for many things, but none such as the love of God. His perfect love and protection can never be compromised; if only you just believe. How did I manage to get over it? How did I manage to get through it? Am I better than what and where I was? Have I found peace? Lets just say, God continues to Amaze me.
