She thought helping someone she loved would bring peace into all of their lives. Instead, compassion slowly became obligation, boundaries blurred, and three lives became tangled in ways none of them expected.

What began as a friendship between two women carrying the scars of abusive relationships grew into something deeper: survival, sisterhood, and the kind of dependence formed when two people recognize each other's wounds.

Then Solomon returned from overseas.

At first, his presence brought relief. He helped where he could, carried burdens that had become too heavy, and stood beside the woman he loved as she tried to hold everyone together. But as work demanded more of her and the needs around them multiplied, Solomon gradually became more involved.

Somewhere between helping, exhaustion, loyalty, love, and unspoken expectations, the boundaries began to disappear.

And she was starving for the man she loved.

Through salah, conversations after the masjid, sleepless nights, mistakes, intimacy, jealousy, forgiveness, and the difficult work of becoming better Muslims and better people, she begins confronting a painful truth:
