Many authors have written about marriage in comprehensive ways, so why a new book about marriage someone can ask? The answer is that relationships are so complex no book can cover all their intricacies. This book doesn't make such claim anyway. The author thinks that readers are people who deserve to know what has happened behind doors of apparently united and looking-good families and broke later. The author thinks that readers want to get as many information as possible about marriage, either to learn from others's mistakes or to correct a situation that has already started to be difficult. Because sometimes, we just wish that we had done things differently...
The latter assertion relates perfectly to the personal experience of the author, who needed to pause, brainstorm and find solutions to avoid a family break after 27 years of marriage and 3 kids.
