What Lives in the Woodlands?

What Lives in the Woodlands?

Step into the woodland forest and discover the animals that live among the trees.

In this visually accessible children's book, young readers meet woodland animals one by one through simple, rhythmic text and clear imagery designed to support early learning and visual engagement. From the watchful great horned owl to the waddling skunk and busy beaver, each page invites children to pause, look closely, and connect with the natural world.

Thoughtfully designed with uncluttered layouts and an emphasis on salient features, What Lives in the Woodlands? helps children identify animals by the parts that stand out the most. The book was created with accessibility in mind and supports children with a wide range of visual and learning needs, including those with Cortical Visual Impairment.
