What a Guy is a heartfelt coming-of-age story that explores the bond between a boy and a misunderstood dog, set against the backdrop of family, fear, and healing.

Robert, a quiet and determined teenager, has just completed his grade eleven correspondence courses with outstanding results. His parents are proud and throw a small backyard barbeque to celebrate his success. But what should be a joyful moment quickly takes an unexpected turn when Rebel-a half-wolf, half-German Shepherd recently returned to the family-runs toward him, barking. Robert freezes in fear, unable to move or enjoy the celebration.
