The view of work has evolved, and two concepts remain relevant today: employee alienation and self-fulfilment through work. The aim of this theoretical framework is to raise the reader's awareness of the emergence of a new form of suffering in the world of work: psychosocial risks. Despite warnings from psychologists and health experts, awareness among the state, public bodies and businesses has been slow to materialise for some, and non-existent for others. Cardiovascular disease, burnout, suicide... These are the consequences that employees now face on a daily basis. How, in today's society, can we tolerate the erosion of moral foundations? Are we going to accept the sad reality of dehumanisation in the name of a company's economic performance without reacting?
