Welcome to Black Airlines Flying High With A Side Of Drama

Terminal 12 is a sharp, chaotic, and darkly humorous workplace dramedy that captures the surreal absurdity of life behind the boarding gate. Set against the backdrop of a massive, indefinite flight delay, the story follows Maya, a resilient gate agent, and her tight-knit crew-Judy, Mark, Kim, and Cheryl-as they navigate the thin line between professional duty and total psychological collapse.

When a simple delay spirals into a multi-day ordeal, the terminal transforms into a bizarre, lawless society. What starts as a standard shift turns into an epic of "vacation regression," featuring everything from inflatable flamingo uprisings and duty-free fashion shows to the election of a golden retriever as the "Mayor" of the stranded passengers.

As the "Lottery Four" struggle to maintain order, they are forced to confront the strange, makeshift community they've built among the blanket forts and vending machine turf wars. Balancing the petty, high-stakes drama of the passengers with the looming presence of corporate auditors and the pressures of their own lives-including Maya's tentative, hopeful search for love in the wake of tragedy-the book explores themes of resilience, identity, and the surprising bonds formed in the most miserable of circumstances.
