When a storm blows a family of tiny dragons far from their forest home, they are cast into the human world in a way they never expected. In the tiny hands of young human children, Valon, Shanai, Ulick and Aisha learn that there may be more to life than flight, food and rest. 

Flying through the air in flashes of blue, red, bronze and green, the dragons bring colour to the lives of their human protectors. But when the children learn that adult life can make them blind to the fantastical world at their fingertips, Valon must find a way to help them and their parents see.  

In this new fantasy series by debut author Gill Summerville, anything can be solved when people and dragons come together. Stray dogs, a depleting insect population and bullies of all sizes threaten them, but as one, they might just be able to create a new, welcoming world. 

Can Valon convince the other dragons to leave their green sanctuary for the bright lights of the human world? And can these two communities truly live side by side?
