JT Show's book exposes forged signatures on Utah Gov. Spencer Cox's 2024 Republican nominating petitions, over a year of government cover-up, and how officials misled courts while Cox won re-election.
Gathering Inc. submitted ~ 28,000 signatures for Cox. Davis County Clerk Brian McKenzie's office verified them under an invalid post-dated contract signed one day after certification. Only 1 of 36 workers was fully trained. McKenzie publicly claimed full documentation and chain-of-custody; all statements were false.
The day Cox qualified, McKenzie emailed Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson's elections director, as Utah doesnt have a Secretary of State, about an "ongoing investigation" into forgeries. Flagged packets were secretly pulled from the state database and sent to the Lt. Gov.'s office, Henderson's own campaign as she is Cox's running-mate, then to AG case AG24-170. Henderson's office secretly reviewed 48 packets and found 96% forged. Utah Attorney Generals investigative agent McKelle Jordan door-knocked victims in July 2024.
Three audits confirmed fraud. The third audit was buried until after the election. Courts were told the process was clean; AG briefs denied any investigation existed. Judges dismissed Phil Lyman's cases without knowing AG24-170 or the audits.
