With the help of her band of colorful friends and confidantes, Jess weaves her way through the morass of corruption, both within the department and on the streets of New York City. The trail leads to some rich children shredded by the murder of their parents. That crime remains unsolved, but the ramifications of this one doesn't afford that luxury.
