"Through the Light Barrier" investigates various questions under two main headings, natural philosophy and morality, although the subject matter covered may be described, in every sense of the word, "universal".It has been compiled and edited from miscellaneous papers recovered from the scene of a major disaster. The format of a television documentary has been adopted to best present a whole range of topics covered by these papers. There are reoccurring themes and an attempt to highlight these has been made by sorting the manuscript into a particular sequence. Editorial licence has also been employed to allow a more visual presentation of abstract ideas."Through the Light Barrier" is an unusual offering and is considerably more succinct than other works that may cover such profound topics. Because of this it should have appeal to all age groups.Included are tantalizing glimpses of a new philosophy, the theory of infinites. This theory is incomplete and only limited detail has survived. Included is an explanation of time, reality and the significance of life. It is suggested that gravity is a form of energy diametrically opposed to light and that these energies are essential constituents of "matter". Another controversial claim is that the speed of light is not constant and is infinitely variable marking the separation between what are called infinite planes of existence.The material has been organized, as far as possible, into the classical philosophic format; it looks at the way things are (the natural sciences), the way things should be (ethics), and the way things could be in the future (utopia).As the theory of infinites is developed, it attempts to answer, in all seriousness, the question, "The ultimate question, the meaning of life, the universe and everything."The work ends with a brief vision of a political future.
