THREAT

She's been found.
By me.
But was it all just a delusional dream?
That's what they-my new family-wants me to believe.

But it's not what they believe or what I believe, it's what they can prove; it's what I can prove, and I believe that who I found was not a dream in the least bit and little does everyone realize it, I can prove it.

The only thing is, knowing what I know now is not as easy as I think it is to tell someone, especially when I have a husband who has told his family that I have a very personal condition that puts everything I do and say in question. And because of this, I have become a threat to the Kensley family name-the inside threat, as the Kensley family calls it. . . and I'm not the only one who is now considered this.

My ex-boyfriend will also quite possibly become an unexpected threat to me and my new family because of what he knows about my husband's past lover, which leads to an unforeseen tragedy within the Kensley Family Dynasty (KFD) circles, the first ever of its kind in the family's history.

Not only do I have to deal with a personal condition that is deemed as threatening, I also get into a life-threatening situation that I don't ever see coming, but then again, I probably should've seen it coming.

And this is just the beginning.

It's not easy being silent about what I know, but I feel as if I have no choice in the matter, no matter how wrong it is. I know everything everyone else doesn't-but my husband doesn't want me to think I know anything at all.

Because I am one of them now.

And being one of them means that I have to do everything according to their rules, and that even means quite possibly withholding the truth about what I can prove . . . no excuses.

I'm in a family who expects the best of me, but I'm far from my best when it comes to public speaking appearances. They're a family who believes I will do anything for them, who doesn't believe any rules apply to them, and will do anything to protect themselves, the family legacy, and keep the KFD at its highest prestige . . . .

By any means necessary.
