Sherri Grieve grew up in a small Manitoba town with an empty fridge, hand-me-down clothes, and a home that never truly felt safe. She became the class clown because laughter was the only armor she had.

At twenty-three, she became a single mother and made a quiet promise: her son would grow up knowing a different kind of life than the one she had known.
