The Whodunit Thing

Featuring Dulcy Vestige, an Australian female police detective. The tale describes the life of the lady sleuth and how she gets her man.

The cast includes a mix of ethnicity. Some irreverent Australian culture comes to the fore with interactions between friends and acquaintances.

During her childhood, Dulcy Vestige has a bent for solving mysteries. A secret club is formed with four school friends who meet in Dulcy's tree house.

Sharing a beach house on holidays as seventeen years old, the girlfriends meet a group of surfboard riders, who are all in their early twenties. The girls experience their first sexual encounters. Only two pairings result in eventual marriage. One becomes a forever union. The other ends in heartbreak.

Working against some of societies worst, Dulcy Vestige becomes familiar with the beauty and the terror of her homeland. Her strait-laced attitude is relaxed after an admired man falls from grace. Eventually the woman decides to abandon the high moral ground and go her own way to please herself.

The saga culminates in uncharted territory with a romantic twist.
