Detective Cassidy Tremaine is young, attractive and a divorced mother of two. A few days later, the case is suddenly resolved too neatly for Detective Tremaine to believe. Still curious about the strange group of wealthy loafers, Detective Tremaine chooses to infiltrate their society on her own. Not long into her association with the group, Detective Tremaine learns that she is being shadowed by a dark figure with eyes that reflect light and answers to the name Cristiãn. Her single-minded determination to discover which of her newfound acquaintances is the man with the glinting eyes leads her ever deeper into a world of erotic excesses and mind-bending experiences. Despite these deviances, the mounting clues convince her that she is on track to uncover the truth behind the Greenbelt 9 murders. And her greatest fear through it all is that she might be falling in love with the man of her dreams.
