The Untold Story of FOUTA's Royal Bloodline

A powerful journey of rediscovery and cultural restoration, The Untold Story of FOUTA's Royal Bloodline chronicles the remarkable life of Prince Abdul Rahman ibn Sori, a Fulani prince from the Fouta Djallon region of Guinea, whose royal heritage was almost erased by the transatlantic slave trade. Forced into slavery, Abdul Rahman's struggle for freedom spans continents and generations, connecting his descendants with the rich history of their African roots.

In this memoir, the seventh-generation granddaughters of Abdul Rahman, Princess Dr. Natachia Randles and Princess Dr. Alicia Gibson, embark on a personal mission to reclaim their ancestral legacy. Through decades of painstaking research, DNA testing, and oral history, they trace their royal lineage back to the Imamate of Timbo, where their ancestor once ruled and shaped the course of history in West Africa.

This inspiring work is a testament to resilience, survival, and the restoration of identity. It offers readers not only a historical narrative but also a call to action for preserving African heritage and fostering connections between the African diaspora and their ancestral homeland. From the vibrant markets of Timbo to the cotton fields of Natchez, Mississippi, the story intertwines the suffering of slavery with the enduring legacy of a royal bloodline that refuses to be forgotten.

The Untold Story of FOUTA's Royal Bloodline is more than just a family history; it is an invitation to honor the resilience of ancestors, reclaim lost identities, and honor the stories that have long been suppressed.
