Many good friends have told me I have a gift for storytelling. They've said that all of the follies and foibles I relate are entertaining with the very best part being that they are true. My earnest hope is that the stories of my life bring a smile to your face and wisdom to your heart. This original work is true to the best of my knowledge as it comes straight from my aging memory and the life lessons I've learned from many of the main players I've known. If I've not mentioned various folks, take heart, you've avoided an arrow, if I have mentioned you, you likely deserved it.
These tales starting in my childhood are mostly lighthearted such that they might be related by Laura Engles and the outcomes can be a bit predictable. But kids being kids it's fun to look back and laugh at all of the crazy. The later life lessons reflect the world that we occupy today and the often-dire results of terrible people and also the wonderful hearts of much better people that step in and lend a hand. I had a very blessed life and a horribly tortured life at times but It made me who I am and I am proud of this person.
