They were supposed to be props. They became the life of the party.

Maya Rao loves Halloween in Hollow's End. The air is crisp, the cider is hot, and the ghosts usually stick to haunting the attic. But this year, the town's "Spooky Science" parade float has a few too many volunteers.

When the local museum loans a collection of antique medical skeletons to The Resting Place, Maya thinks her biggest problem will be keeping them dusted. She was wrong.

Thanks to a well-intentioned (but poorly labeled) potion from the town witch, the exhibit has woken up. Now, Maya has twelve confused skeletons who think they're a jazz band, a reanimated Velociraptor named "Fluffy" who wants to eat the mailman, and exactly twenty-four hours until the Mayor inspects the float.

The Mission: Convince the entire town that the skeletons marching down Main Street are just really expensive robots.The Problem: Skeletons are terrible at taking direction. And Barnaby the Yule Cat has decided the dinosaur is his new best friend.
