Father Anne was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 2021 in violation of canon law. She holds a Master of Divinity from Jesuit School of Theology and works for the full participation of women in the Roman Catholic Church as God intends. She has been featured in The New Yorker, a BBC documentary, and National Catholic Reporter.
