In a small town in Arkansas there sits an old house. It's dirty and dilapidated. There hasn't been a human occupant in several years. The man who built it died under strange circumstances. And over the years even more have died or disappeared in or around it. Why hasn't it been torn down? Or how has it escaped being targeted by developers? Good questions but the answer isn't a simple one. For the house served as more than just a dwelling for a person. It serves as a nexus between worlds. And the home of a being of dark origins. It is a house, a courtroom and an execution grounds.
On a rainy night the master of the house reflects upon the history of the house. Miles away the only living relative of the man who built stumbles onto its history and begins digging and learns that some times the past is best left alone.
