The Outpost

THOSE THAT GO OUT ON RECONNAISSANCE AND HUNTING DISAPPEAR. THE WORLD HAS FROZEN. AND ALMOST ALL HOPE WITH IT.

Big White - a climate event cooling the surface of the Earth below freezing point - has devastated the planet. Those that survived live in shelters, patrolling the land in search of any rations left or animals like deer to hunt. Those are called Rangers, trained and fit individuals risking their lives providing for the rest of their colony. Terry and Bull are one of those small Ranger teams. And when they're sent out to locate the Outpost, a station the colony has lost contact with some time back, they don't return.

Everyone assumes other colonies must exist somewhere out there. But nobody knows for sure. Are they better off or worse? Are they socially just or dictatorships? The few genuine friends they had are tired of waiting for their return and set out to find Terry and Bull. Neither of them has any way of knowing what society they're going to find themselves in when they arrive at the Outpost. And what games they are expected to play if they ever want to come out alive...
