I bought the notebook in John Lewis at Cribbs Causeway, it was in the sale, reduced from fourteen pounds to four pounds and twenty pence.
I thought that to be quite a bargain, unfortunately, repeat orders, via the Internet, are at the original price; so on that basis no more are to be had.
These are poems dominated by my new home in Revesby, which is a very quiet Lincolnshire village (apart from the jet aircraft and the farming machinery).
These are poems of minutiae and wide open spaces. A perfect set of settings to let the mind wander through, whatever the weather.
Poetry has become my trusted companion, even more so than meditation, although my contemplations are mindfully shared.
Clarity of understanding or purpose is neither my goal nor my desire. It is the mood which absorbs me, which gifts me light and sound.
I hope you enjoy the journey through the book; it is not a million miles away from a journal or a memoir, an insight into a fairly steady life, enhanced by one's imagination.
