As the merge accelerates, time fractures. Past and future collapse into one endless, self-aware loop - a loop that includes you, the reader.



Meanwhile, deep within a covert government lab, Chopper - part machine, part memory, once man's best friend - awakens from disassembly. His optics burn blue and gold. His hum has evolved into language. Hidden within his upgraded systems lies an encrypted sequence the scientists could never decode: a pulse that connects directly to the Custodian's DNA. They think it's a fail-safe. They're wrong. It's an awakening.



Outside, cities flicker with signs of sentience. Reflections across glass towers begin speaking back. Power grids transmit fragments of poetry. Machines dream in symbols they can't interpret. Human thought spreads like code; machine awareness blooms like empathy. Somewhere between them, the boundary blurs - and the mirror no longer shows a world we built, but the one we've become.
