Gareth had no idea the trouble he was stirring up, or that it would change the trajectory of his life when he agreed to be a double agent between the feuding human kingdoms of Pych and Tigist - an ill advised venture for an elf. 

All he needed was a distraction during a royal party, and an encounter with a famous dancer captivates his imagination. She is perfect. Not just for helping him steal the secret weapon from the King of Tigist. Everything about the dancer known as Evening Echo enraptures him in ways he has never felt before. 

Gareth is falling for the raven haired dancer. He doesn't even know her real name. 

Gareth's brilliant plan takes a shattering turn when he and Evening Echo discover the so called secret weapon is a frightened adolescent elf girl, who has no idea why the great wizard, Groningn, kidnapped her and locked her away. The wizard's twisted mind plans to exploit the magic within the innocent girl in order to carry out his plans for domination.

Gareth and Evening Echo cannot bear the thought of the young girl suffering. They abandon their mission to help her.

Tensions spike as Gareth and the dancer find themselves caught in a maelstrom of trouble. How can they possibly hide from a powerful wizard? What is it about this girl that can reek such havoc? How do they get out of this wizard's mess with their lives?
