The Girl in the Olive Uniform

On the morning of October 6, she was a soldier.

By nightfall, she was a hostage.

Captain Shir had spent her life proving she was stronger than the chaos she grew up in. Rising through the ranks of Israel's intelligence corps, she built a life defined by discipline and duty, for the promise of a future beyond her troubled past.

But one morning in early October will shatter everything.

When a devastating attack overruns a base near the Gaza border where she had been sent to perform an intelligence investigation, Shir becomes one of the unthinkable, an Israeli officer taken captive. Dragged into the darkness of underground tunnels, cut off from the world she once knew, she faces a brutal new reality where survival depends on endurance, instinct, and most importantly, hope.

In captivity, Shir finds herself responsible for two unlikely companions: a young soldier haunted by the loss of her friends, and a terrified young boy who watched his family destroyed before he was taken into the tunnels beneath Gaza. Together, they form a fragile bond in a place designed to break the human spirit, and discover that courage should not be reserved for the battlefield-and that hope can be found even in the darkest of places.

Based on a harrowing true story, The Girl in the Olive Uniform is a gripping and deeply human tale of survival, resilience, and the strength women find within themselves when everything else is stripped away.
