8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness."  This journey will not stop until a cure for hydrocephalus is discovered and until doctors recognize that patients' needs come before standard practice. Paul lived through the frustration of being dismissed and hearing, "Your shunt is functioning. There's nothing more I can do." But he knows, as every patient knows, when it comes to their bodies, they are the true experts. Too often, lived experiences are overshadowed by clinical assumptions-and that must change. Every voice matters. Every symptom matters. Every patient deserves to be heard with compassion, not brushed aside with indifference. This is more than a story about Paul's journey-it's a call to action. He has made it his mission to keep pushing, keep speaking, and keep fighting until every doctor listens, every patient is valued, and a cure for hydrocephalus is finally found.
