There's a sinister entity that stalks the hills of Blackwater. Once known as Amar, Susquehanna Indian and his tribe, known for being brutal and having murderous instincts ingrained in their blood, were murdered by Jessica's ex, Blake's grandfather, Dylan, ex- sniper from back in Vietnam. Now, years later, Amar and his tribe still haunt the Blackwater hill's. Instilling fear in anyone that dares to enter.

Jessica Wilken, the only one to survive the wrath of Amar's spirit, lives on to fight a bloody battle in another riveting chapter of her life. After getting saved by a stranger and waking up in a hospital, she finds herself being rescued by a charming, rich surgeon, Daniel, who offers her the chance in a lifetime to get her life back on track.

After giving birth to a seemingly normal baby, her son Charlie gradually takes on a whole new personality by the age of six, leading her to speculate the baby's origins and his attachment to a snakehead necklace that originally belonged to Amar. The necklace bears a powerful spirit that follows her wherever she goes. She hasn't been able to destroy it, and now her six year old son, Charlie, has found a personal attachment to it.
