The Dragon of Maasai Mara

Across the golden grasslands of the Maasai Mara, where thunderheads gather like ancient drums and the earth trembles beneath a million hooves, lives a guardian few have ever seen but all have felt. Mara, the golden dragon of the savannah, keeps silent watch over the Great Migration, the eternal river of wildebeest, zebras, and all who follow the rains.

When a young wildebeest calf named Jabari is swept into the perilous journey north, he must learn to trust his instincts, his herd, and the quiet guidance of the unseen protector who shadows the migration from the sky. Through drought and storm, predators and crossings, Jabari discovers that courage is not the absence of fear but the rhythm that keeps the herd moving forward.

Blending ecological truth with mythic wonder, The Dragon of Maasai Mara invites readers into a world where every creature has a place in the great circle of life, and where even the smallest steps echo across generations. It is a story of belonging, bravery, and the ancient promise that the journey continues always, and for all.
