The purpose of the Bible is to inform us the basics of why we were created, and how we can have a relationship with our Creator. As we go to the book of Genesis, we discover the foundation for everything that follows in the Bible as to why that original relationship was damaged. God says that the barrier between Himself and His creation is caused by sin and rebellion, and that sin always results in spiritual death and separation from God. The foundational principle of sin and death is set in stone, and everything that follows in Scripture must yield to this truth, or we are believing a lie. The devil says that this law is not true. Even today, many that claim to believe the Bible cast their lot with the devil and against God by denying His law of sin and death. Many Christians today do not believe God when He says... In the day ye eat thereof, ye shall surely die. How did we get to this point? Can we do anything about it?
