The CTRL+ALT® Files, Vol. 1 follows a group of artists trying to keep a tour, a band, and each other from coming apart at the seams. There's a girl who refuses to shrink for anyone, a perfectionist carrying more ghosts than he knows what to do with, women with sharp tongues and sharper instincts, and a band of misfits turning grief, lust, anger, shame, and ambition into songs loud enough to drown out everything they would rather not talk about.

They love each other. They piss each other off. They sleep with the wrong people, say the wrong things, disappear when they should stay, and stay when they probably should run. Some of them are trying to become famous. Some are trying to survive what fame already cost them. Some just want to make the next show without completely destroying their lives.

Along the way there are journals, hotel rooms, green rooms, long drives, terrible boundaries, private betrayals, ridiculous arguments, unexpected tenderness, and enough emotional baggage to require its own trailer.

It's messy. It's sexy. It's funny until suddenly it isn't.

And underneath all of it are people trying to figure out who they are when the lights come down, the crowd goes home, and there's nobody left to perform for. Not everyone gets out untouched. Someone doesn't get out at all. But the music keeps going.
