The Corridor

The EMP was only the beginning. In the aftermath of total societal collapse, Jacob Rome and the Fall Creek community proved they could survive the initial fallout and the loss of the grid. They built a fragile haven within "The Pocket," relying on agrarian cooperation and mutual defense. But enduring the initial blackout is far different from sustaining life as long-term scarcity sets in, and far larger forces are moving on the map.

A massive existential threat has arrived on the Pacific Northwest horizon. Forces from the Eastern Coalition have staged an amphibious landing on the Oregon coast, advancing inland to absorb the entire state. The only barrier standing against total occupation is General Thorne and the mechanized 58th Combined Division. Sent to push the Coalition back, Thorne's unit initially represents a shield against conquest.

However, protection comes at a devastating cost. Operating under martial imperative, Thorne's forces view Fall Creek's agricultural yields, livestock, and strategic location as vital assets to be requisitioned. To fuel his campaign, Thorne moves to lock down the Corridor, the critical transit route essential for trade and local survival, threatening to reduce the self-reliant community to a stripped supply depot.

Jacob Rome is thrust into an impossible position. Standing alone against the Eastern Coalition means annihilation, but submitting to Thorne's aggressive requisition means the slow starvation of his people. He needs Thorne's military strength to keep the Coalition at bay, but he cannot allow the 58th Division to destroy Fall Creek from within. As internal arguments erupt over whether to collaborate, flee, or resist, Jacob must execute a dangerous act of strategic defense. To keep the Pocket alive, the community must resist military control, defend their home, and secure the Corridor at all costs.
