It started with one.
One person out of the thousands in the city of Oppida, once the center of the Shik'ei Empire and now center of operations for the three nations of the Trium in the New World. But one turned to many, and many to a pandemic like none had ever seen, decimating the once bustling city beyond recognition. The dead fill the streets, food is rationed, and people forced into their homes, driving tensions in the colonized city toward a boiling point.
As the colony's leadership works toward calming the survivors, Trium leaders across the sea put into action their own plan, a quarantine of the city enforced by the combined armies of the three nations, cutting off all means of escape. What was once a race for a cure turns into a race for survival, as natives and colonizers alike look toward a way to escape before either the disease takes them, or their own soldiers do.
