The Broken Harp

During World War II, neutral Ireland is quietly divided. While the government leans toward supporting Britain, many citizens still feel loyalty to Germany, the nation that helped Ireland gain independence less than twenty years earlier.

Twelve-year-old Brian McGrath and his older brother Patrick are celebrating with their family, despite wartime shortages, when Irish police suddenly burst into their home.
