The Amulet

When the tyrannical King Antaurous descends on her village, Cosette is stripped of her magic as a peculiar necklace is placed around her neck. She is thrust into servitude and broken in every way imaginable.

Prince Daegin has spent almost two years saving and planning to escape his overbearing father's rule, living in shadows ever since his mother died. After a drunken brawl and getting patched up by a healer, Daegin starts learning all the dark secrets of the kingdom he plans to leave behind-secrets that make him wonder if he is doing the right thing by running away.
