When I was a little boy, I was asked what I wanted to be when I grew up. 'An Adventurer' , I replied. 'There is no such profession', everyone said. 'Didn't I know?!' 'Why wouldn't there be?' I said. 'Of course there is' I thought it myself. In this wonderful story, we can read exciting and inspiring stories about expeditions in different parts of the Earth. With the splendid illustrations by Igor Lazin and Australian-Hungarian, children's book writer- Peter Jones- recount the amazing adventures of Gábor Rakonczay, whose message is that our dreams can always be reached with a strong will and warm heart. Gabor Rakonczay is an extreme athlete, a two-time Guinness World Record holder and a six-time ocean crossing sailor, the owner of the American Adventure of the Year Award and the Hungarian Design Award. He reguralry performs hunderds of kilometers of ultra runs. He crossed Greenland in 29 days and reached the South Pole on a 44-day expedition. He is the author of 3 books and does countless lectures on goal achievement and inspiration for more than 200000 people arund the world.
