Ten At A Time

Learning times tables can be tough. But using Ten at a Time, parents and teachers can make it fun!

Playful rhyming and vibrant illustrations guide children through a short story about a monster claw salon, and there are ten monsters who all want their claws painted differently! Readers need to count pairs of hands on the monsters, figure out how many there are, make them disappear from the salon. They will then count the claws on their feet, without even seeing them! By the end of its 16 pages, the child has unwittingly practised the foundations of their ten times tables. They might even want to try it again!

The end of the book contains a step-by-step guide and resources that can be cut out and used to make the experience even more interactive for children.
