I was at the Academy to prove to everyone that Humans were just as capable as the other alien races. Getting distracted by some male was the last thing I needed...

The Galactic High Command Academy was where the highest performing officers in the Human, Mostri, and Audhus militaries went. I was among them, but as a Human female, it was still hard to fit in.

I excelled in classes like Plasma Physics and Persuasive Communications, but the final survival scenario would be a whole other beast. Forty days in the alien woods with nothing but a small team would be one of the biggest challenges of my life.

That is until I found myself in the same group as the male Mostri I had been eyeing the entire term. Relationships were banned at the Academy, and I didn't have time for them anyways, but somehow I couldn't take my mind off of him. Strator Klaso was big, handsome, and, most importantly, often scored just as well as I did on our exams. So basically, my dream guy. The survival groups were supposed to be random, but I guess no one told him that.

How am I supposed to get through the term, then through the survival scenario, all while figuring out what to do with Strator Klaso and maintaining the highest marks in my term group? Will I manage all my responsibilities, or will I fail out before even getting close?
