When at 4 am on 5 June 2616 Madi, corresponding to 26 May 1908, the drilling rig at a depth of 360 meters in the ground in Masjed-e-Soleman broke the layers that enclosed the oil, oil gushed out to a height of 50 meters. After a few days, well number 2 also reached oil.
