2800 years ago, Semiramis was the young Princess of Urartu, living a peaceful life until larger nearby kingdoms felt the need to turn her world upside down. Bactra, Ninevah, Babylon, and Assyria were all vying for the valuable highlands. When Urartu refused to surrender themselves, the inexperienced Semiramis was taken by force, locked into marriage with a renown Ninevah general.
Jealousy would quickly doom the couple and Semiramis would find herself promised to an abusive Ninevah king. To retaliate for the hostilities, the Assyrian prince Nirari started taking matters into his own hands, acting against the words and wishes of his esteemed parents to make sure Semiramis came home to him. But the path between Ninevah and Assyria had to go through the falling might of Babylon first.
Nirari was a steadfast man, and there was no cost too high for him to pay for Semiramis, be it blood or gold. After the carnage of the Battle of Dur-Papsukkal, Semiramis was sold into marriage again, this time to the Assyrian king, desperate to breed her and secure the military power that came with her. Were Semiramis and Nirari able to prove that true love conquers all, or did they die for their chance at a happy ending?
