For decades, the Department of Infectious Diseases at Huashan Hospital, affiliated with Fudan University, has possessed distinctive academic strengths and advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of classic infectious diseases. The department has admitted a large number of difficult cases and cases of fever of unknown origin, many of which are both classic and challenging. This book selects the most compelling confirmed cases from the past two years, describing the diagnostic and treatment process in detail.
