Salt to the Wound

It was a normal day just like any other, until suddenly, it wasn't. Emily wakes up, brushes her teeth, gets dressed, and leaves the house to get her morning started. It was early Saturday and she had the weekend free to do anything she pleased. She decided to spend the morning at the pool while waiting for her friends to wake up.

The calm before the storm: as Emily made her way, she smelled the fresh laundry in the air, took a moment to sit with her favorite pink-leafed tree, and finally, made it to the vacant pool. She didn't know it then, but this peaceful start to her day was only moments away from coming to an abrupt and violent end.

Three men, each more monstrous than the other, against one unsuspecting young woman. Emily must leverage her strengths to gain the upper hand and fight for her own survival. Though she is physically weaker than any one of her three attackers, there are many advantages she has over them, which she must be precise and cunning with if she wants to live.

This is Emily's story. She must fight for herself when no one else is willing to fight for her. She must be smart, quick on her feet, and a woman of action. A story of unlikely friendships, and unlikely rivalries. When she is being targeted by some of the world's most heinous predators, when she is being held with her back against a wall, how far will she be willing to go to protect what's hers?
