Rivalry

The Highview Spartans are finally starting to feel like a team. By training with the same diehard dedication as the warriors of ancient Sparta, they've mastered the fundamentals of hockey. By adding a pro athlete to their roster, they're actually managing to win some games. And by going on this epic journey of self-improvement together, they've forged friendships that will last for a lifetime.

But just as the Spartans are starting believe that the future is bright, everything they've built is jeopardised by a spectre from their coach's past.

The next opponent on their schedule - the Broadway Bloodhounds - are the best team in the league. They win every game they play. They have more money and fans than every other team in the league combined. And it just so happens that they are coached by Coach Reynolds' childhood nemesis.

Sylvester Maloney has always been a bully, and his players are just as bad. Rich and cocky, they've been playing hockey all their lives and know every dirty trick in the book. Worse still, they don't think the upstart Spartans belong in the league and are determined to put them out of business, by any means necessary.

For the Spartans, securing a win against the Bloodhounds means so much more than two points in the league standings. It's a matter of justice overcoming evil... and their team's survival.

To prevail against this seemingly unconquerable opponent, they know they will need to flip the script. And what better way is there of doing that than by reviving the Age of the Enforcer and deploying their latest recruit - a humongous juvenile delinquent, who has a very personal grudge against the Bloodhounds and needs a fresh start even more than his fellow Spartans?

Whether the Spartans' desire is enough to overcome the Bloodhounds' talent will be decided on the ice. But whatever happens, history is sure to be made. Because when two teams hate each other with the same passion as the Bruins and the Habs, a rivalry will be born.
